New AI model Jev: find the tenders worth bidding on

Jev judges whether a tender fits your company by what you actually do, not by matching words. Now available in beta.

Companies that compete for public contracts sift through dozens of new tenders every day. The right ones get lost among tenders that share their words but not their substance: design instead of construction, supply instead of installation, maintenance instead of development. Telling them apart takes hours.

Today, we're starting the beta of Jev in Tendy. Jev is an AI model from TypeSafe AI, built for fast, precise decisions. In Tendy, it answers one question: would your company bid on this tender?

A match score you can trust

Until now, the match percentage showed how similar a tender was to your profile. With Jev, it shows how well the tender fits your company.

Jev helps you answer the questions you ask every day, faster:

  • Which of today's new tenders should we open first?
  • Is this our kind of work, or does it just sound like it?
  • Which tenders have we been missing that we should have bid on?

Tenders that fit rise to the top of your feed, and the ones that only share your words drop down.

What it looks like in practice

Take a general contractor that builds residential complexes, shopping centres and commercial property.

A general-contracting tender to modernise an administrative building in Minsk, worth 32.4 million BYN, used to score 34% and sit at number 77 in the feed: its title shares almost no words with the company's description. Jev scores it 80%, because this is exactly the work the contractor does.

Design and survey work for a farm reconstruction went the other way. It scored 50% and ranked seventh, thanks to a construction theme and a fitting contract value. Jev scores it 22%: design work goes to design firms, not general contractors.

The result: instead of design, inspections and tree felling, the top of the feed now shows construction and general contracting, the work the company actually bids on.

Tested on real tenders

We tested Jev on tenders for companies across industries, including construction, IT, medical supplies, food and printing, and compared its scores with answers prepared in advance about which tenders fit which companies.

  • 85% of the tenders in the top five of the feed were a fit, up from 72%.
  • 97% of the tenders Jev scored at 80% or higher really did fit the company.

We're continuing to test Jev on real feeds with our first beta customers.
